Mel and Al’s elopement day started with getting ready at a gorgeous cabin in nearby Deming, Washington. After getting ready we loaded up their bright red rented Bronco for a scenic drive up to Artist Point, taking in the crisp mountain air and stunning views along the way. They wanted a day that felt relaxed, meaningful, and completely their own. Dressed in elegant yet adventure-friendly attire, they hiked a short distance to their ceremony location, where they exchanged heartfelt vows with nothing but the mountains as their witness.
The classic PNW overcast light cast a soft light over the rugged peaks, creating a surreal, almost cinematic atmosphere. Their intimate ceremony, officiated by the iconic Officiant Jimmie, was filled with laughter, tears, and the undeniable feeling that this moment was exactly where they were meant to be. We met two hikers named James and Jimmy in the parking lot who decided they must stay for their elopement and decided they were going to be the perfect witnesses for the marriage certificate. Having two onlookers that were found in such an organic way is truly the perfect representation of the kind hearted folks that live in the PNW.
